Wilma Florene Hyde went to be with her Lord in her heavenly home on Thursday October 21,
2021.
Wilma was born in Perkins, Oklahoma May 13th 1933 to Dewey and Ada Jester. Wilma
graduated from John Marshall High School in 1951 and was a life-long resident of Oklahoma.
Wilma worked for many years for the TG&Y Headquarters in Oklahoma City and retired from the
Hertz Corporation in 1998.
Wilma was a member of the TP Church (Tabernacle of Praise) in Edmond and a proud fan of
the Oklahoma City Thunder and OU Sooners. She was active with her high school reunion
committee and loved working the election polls. She loved to travel and was an avid cook book
collector. Wilma was a generous and kind person who greeted everyone with a warm smile.
Wilma is survived by her daughter Kimberley Armstrong of Wylie, TX (Douglas), 4 grandchildren
(Reagan, Kirsten, Amanda and Zoe Armstrong) of Wylie, 5 nieces (Terry Goforth of Oklahoma
City, Kathy Grubbs of Belle Vista, Arkansas, Cheryl Marson of Edmond, Sandra Adams of
Oklahoma City Elaine Jester of Tucson AZ) 1 nephew (Jerry Jester of Tucson AZ) and many
great nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased in death by her parents Dewey and Ada Jester, sister Alene Marson,
brother Francis Jester and nephew Clay Marson.
Memorial Service will be held on Saturday at 10 AM Oct 30, 2021 at the (TP Church)
Tabernacle of Praise, 5801 N. 178th St. Edmond OK. Private Interment to follow.
