MILDRED BARKER Obituary

Mildred Louise (Wells) Barker, of Oklahoma City, OK passed away on Thursday, September 17, 2020. She was 80 years old.

Mildred was born to parents Carroll and Lois Wells on April 25, 1940 in Lamar, CO. Mildred moved to Oklahoma City with her family as a young child. She grew up the eldest of eight children and attended Southeast High School where she graduated in 1958.

Mildred is survived by her sons, Bill Gatlin and Keith Gatlin; her daughter, Theresa Gatlin; her sister Mary Lucas; her four brothers, Jesse Wells, Larry Wells, Ronnie Wells, and Perry Wells; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Carroll and Lois; her brother, James “Jim” Wells; and her sister, Janice Manwell.

At Mildred’s request, and due to Covid-19, no services will be held. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to St.Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Mildred’s honor.
