MARGIE (MYERS) PHELPS

       Margie Myers Phelps, 68, of Lawton, Ok went to her Heavenly home February 15th, 2020. She was born in Carlsbad, NM on May 9th, 1951 to Wade and Ida Myers.

      She is survived by her sons Roger Phelps and wife Brenda Trent of Lawton, Ok, and Mark Hargrove and wife Sema of Ardmore, Alabama, and her daughter, Rhonda Smith and husband Shane of Cache, Ok, two brothers Lindon and Garland Myers of Lawton, Ok.  Six grandchildren, Sheila, Jacey,  and Tanner Smith of Cache, Ok,  Cassandra Lucky and husband Hunter of Ardmore, Alabama, Paige and Joel Hargrove of Ardmore, Alabama.  Five Great-grand children,  Charlee  Exum of Cache,  Ok. Maddie, Blake and Collin Mullins and Fisher Lucky of Ardmore, Alabama  and many extended family, nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends.

     She was preceded in death by her parents Wade and Ida Myers, two brothers, Paul Myers, Travis McCoy of Lawton, Ok, and her sister Charlene Milton of Clarksville, TN, and the fathers of her children Elbert “Butch” Phelps of Lawton, Ok and Robert Joel Hargrove of Ardmore, Alabama.

    Margie worked many different jobs throughout her younger years with her last job being a client coordinator for the Shelter for Battered Women. She loved the Lord, and her church family was with the Lighthouse Church of God in Lawton. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
