James Michael Rafferty born March 27, 1955 of Mustang, OK passed away on November 6th at 10:05pm after a 2-year battle with cancer. James was preceded in death by his father William James Rafferty, Mother Lois Alene Rafferty, and 2nd wife Lisa Potik Rafferty. He is

Survived by his wife of 17 years, Angela Martin Rafferty, Sons, James Daniel Rafferty (Jen), John Michael Rafferty, Nicholas Walter Potik (Tabatha), brother David Bruce Rafferty, sisters Diana (Rafferty) Davis (AJ), Pamela Dawn Rafferty (Brad) and Kimberly (Rafferty) Myers (Douglas), Granddaughter Kaylee Rowland, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

James, Jim, My Jim, and Dad is remembered for his love of eagles soaring through the mountains, and now he can get a bird’s eye view. He had a love and great understanding of computers and technology. He loved his three sons, his family, and his wife very much. Angela will remember Jim in every aspect of her life, from watching their shows, going to Broken Bow, as well as his patience and kindness that defied what she knew could exist. Jim will be remembered by his sisters and brother in childhood memories, by Nick in Marvel movies and when seeing Iron Man, by James with the pride that he saw in his Dads eyes when he returned from Iraq, and from John when he looks back one day, and memories shared by others along the way. James Flying J family will remember him as their friend when they need a friend to listen and will be looking for him to help them as he always did. Jim will again be joining his heart doggy Dobby and beloved Mom for her family dinners. He was greatly loved and will be greatly missed.
