On January 15, 1954, Richard and Janet (Taylor) Parker were blessed with the birth of their son Dwayne Wadsworth Parker in Great Lakes, Illinois. He was an only child to his mother which gave him the label of being spoiled.
Dwayne served in the United States Army from November 1972, with an Honorary Discharge in April 1978. Being in the military he traveled the world, which gave him his passion for traveling.
He retired from Sentinel Transportation (Phillip 66) in Cushing, Oklahoma, giving him free time to participate and enjoy the Glamping Group, camping, Big Smoke Cigar Club and various motorcycle and car clubs. Dwayne was an avid Chicago Bears and Thunder fan.
Dwayne accepted Christ as Personal Savior and Lord at an early age. He became a member of Greater Mount Olive Baptist Church on September 24, 2017. He was a faithful member serving in the Male Chorus and Seasoned Saints Affinity Group until his health failed.
On September 9, 2017 Dwayne and Jaime Stone were married, giving him a new ray of sunshine and a motorcycle partner.
He was proceeded in death by his parents: Richard and Janet Parker; Sisters: Deborah and Shelia; Cousin: Duke. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife: Jaime Stone-Parker; Children: Dwayne (Jenn) Parker Jr., Marcie (Joel) Dockett-Parker; Step Children: Shylha McGee and Kourtney Parks, Grandchildren: Skylar Wells, Tyrus Parker, Ainsley Parker and Kennedy Parker; Great Grandchild: Brynlee Parker; Siblings: Pharoah Parker, Darrin Parker and Kenneth Parker, Yolanda Macin, Bernadine (Mike) Washington, Darick Stone, Michelle Coleman, Cynthia Coleman, Krystal Gilchrist and Sherry Gilchrist; Mother-in-law: Barbara Stone;Best and Special Friends: Maurice “Mouch” and Monica Jones, Gerd Kelso and Henry Houston.
