CAROLE CARLEE Obituary

Our loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend; Carole Ann Carlee, 71, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, May 7th 2020, at Oklahoma City Mercy Hospital from complications due to pneumonia. She is survived by her daughter Kary, granddaughters Ashley and Erika, and dear lifelong friend Leah Cain.
Carole loved spending time with her pets and cooking for her family and friends. Her favorite place to be was in the kitchen and, as anyone who ever had the pleasure of experiencing her cooking knows, her food was always served with pure joy and a lot of love.  Her chocolate chip cookies, dinner rolls, and countless other recipes will surely be enjoyed by many generations to come.
In addition to cooking, Carole was a true student of life up until the very end; she could always be found with her nose in a book, a pen in her hand, and a song in her heart.
While we must take this time as her family and friends to mourn the light taken from us much too soon, we must also not forget to celebrate the full and joyous life Carole led. As you take this time to sit and reflect on your memories together, please be sure to, as requested by Carole herself, raise a glass and toast to her memory. She was deeply loved and will be dearly missed.
