ANTONIO DAVIS Obituary

Antonio Russell Davis was born to Marie L. Lockwood on September 1, 1995. He departed this earthly life on Saturday, August 6, 2022.

Tony leaves to cherish his memories with his mother Marie Lockwood, of GA. a brother, Brandon Newton, of TX., a sister Valerie Newton, of OK. and a fiancé, Seliena Calvert. He also leaves behind a stepdad, David Newton, aunts, uncles, nephews and cousins.

Tony was the kind of person who always wanted to help others. When he was four his best friend died in a house fire and he decided that he would be a fireman to keep other children from this fate. When a tornado hit Moore, OK. he decided to become a storm chaser instead to give people more warning time and then in high school he decided that he would instead join the military to protect his country.

In the end he chose to help people in little ways. He would pay for someone's groceries at the store, help his mother with a bill if needed, stop to change a tire on the side of the road or just pay for someone's dinner in the drive-thru., if he saw someone digging for change behind him.

Tony was a mechanical engineer for ten years. He also loved to try new things such as taking flying lessons, building hot rods, skydiving, and so much more. He always wanted to learn new things and had recently learned glass blowing to make vases, flowers, a bowl and a plate. He also learned to make rings, guitars, cowboy boots and gun holsters.

He lived life to the fullest, his own way and enjoyed it to the end. Tony would not want anyone to only mourn his loss, he would want you to celebrate the life he lived and who he was. He would want everyone to learn from his example and enjoy your own.

As his final act of kindness, he was able to save three lives as an organ donor. His heart went to a man in Florida, his kidneys went to a woman in Kentucky and to a woman in Tennessee. He was also able to donate his corneas and tissue to enhance the lives of others. He would be happy to know that he helped so many and sad to leave us all.

Remember him always.

The service to celebrate Antonio Davis's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on August 16th at the VFW located at 4605 S. Pennsylvania Ave. Oklahoma City, Ok. 73119.

For those of you who wish to send flowers, please send to this address before 2:00 p.m. I would also ask that anyone who can, there will be a collection container for donations to the downed bikers association in Tony’s honor, next to the guest book.

Please donate if you can as this is used to raise awareness and to stop other families from going through this when their loved ones are hurt by a distracted driver.
