SAMUEL WAYNE ENLOE

Samuel W. Enloe of Bray, OK went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Friday, November 1, 2019 at Comanche Memorial Hospital in Lawton, OK.. at the age of 74.  Memorial Services will be Saturday, November 23, 1:00 P.M. at the Bray Missionary Baptist Church, Bray, OK. Sam was born January 11, 1945, in McAlester, OK to Berry & Elsie Mae (Hammontree) Enloe. Sam grew up in Blanco, OK. and graduated from Pittsburg High School with the class of 1963. On September 9, 1967, Sam married his high school sweetheart Lena Shannon. they were married 52 years. Sam was a graduate of eastern A&M Jr. College in Wilburton, OK. and went on to Southeastern Oklahoma State University, Durant, OK. and became a teacher and coach. Later he went back and got his BA.  He taught Science and was a basketball coach at Tuskahoma, OK, then went to Wapanucka, OK. and became the high school principal and high school coach for the boys and girls basketball. From there to Bennington, OK and was also high school principal and high school coach for the boys and girls there.  Last but not least Bray, OK. where he was a full time principal.  In 1980, he and family moved to Velma, OK. where he went into business for himself. He did oil field related work, repairing pump valves, gas valves, fuel valves etc. After 30 years plus he retired and moved back to Bray, OK. He enjoyed fishing, making a garden, and really liked moving dirt with his "dozer" and tractor. He was happiest when he was surrounded by his grandchildren, and teaching them how to fish and drive the "Gator.".  Sam is survived by his wife, Lena Enloe of the home,; sons, Shawn Enloe & wife Carey of Velma, OK.  Ronnie Enloe of Mountain Home, AR.  Grandchildren, Ryan Enloe of Moore, OK.   Elisabeth (Eme) Enloe of Duncan, OK.  Grace Enloe, and Samantha (Samie) Enloe, of Velma, OK.  Abigail (Abby) Enloe & Kaitlynne (Katy) of OKC, OK. Payton Enloe, Analeece Enloe & Trinity Enloe, of Cherokee Village, AR.  One brother Charles (Dobe) Enloe of Nowata, OK.  Sam was preceded in death by his parents Berry & Elsie Mae Enloe, and a  son Michael Todd Enloe, and three brothers, James Enloe, John Enloe, Denny Enloe.        In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to the American Heart Association.
