Whether you choose burial or cremation, you can hold a funeral service to honor your loved one. We are happy to provide a traditional funeral or something completely unique. Many cultures and religions have special funeral traditions and we will do our best to accommodate your requests. This is a moment for you and your family and we are honored to help you in any way that we can. 

Cremation has become a popular option for many people because it can be more flexible as to where and when you hold a service. You can have a traditional funeral service before a cremation or a memorial service at any time with or without the urn present. You can keep the urn, scatter the ashes or have the urn buried in a grave or columbarium where we can hold a service. Whether you choose burial or cremation, we’re here to offer you a meaningful ceremony. 

Basic Direct Cremation

 ALTERNATIVES CREMATION AND FUNERAL SERVICE  provides comprehensive cremation services that include removal of the deceased, crematorium fees, filing the death certificate, an alternative container for the ashes (urns available for an additional fee), and more.

Pricing for a Basic Direct Cremation: $925.00

  The Basic Direct Cremation includes:   

  Removal within 50 miles of funeral home, medical examiners permit, crematory fees,

•51 - 100 miles will be an additional $135.00

•101 - 125 miles will be an additional $150.00

•126 - 150 miles will be an additional $175.00 

•151+ miles ($175 plus $1.95/mile from mile 151 one way) 

 There are some areas where this price may vary. 

 **There could be an additional charge by the crematory for any deceased weighing over 300 lbs 

* If paying by credit card a 3.5% processing fee will be added to the overall cost. *

 Direct Cremation               $925.00 

 Our charge for direct cremation without ceremony include

 Direct Cremation with Viewing for Immediate Family    $2200.00

Viewing and ceremony  with casket                                 $2200.00-$2450.00

Ceremony held at your pace of worship. With Funeral Director, bring deceased into our care, medical examiner permit, filing the death certificate and social security, basic services of the funeral director and staff with ceremonial (rental) casket, embalming, cosmetology, dressing and cremation 

 If you want to arrange a direct cremation, you can use an alternative container. Alternative containers encase the body and can be made of materials like fiberboard or composition materials (with or without an outside covering). We currently do not require use of an alternative container.
